We offer Christ-centered education for infants through preK students in Eastern Wake County.  We partner with families to provide academic excellence and character development, preparing children for life and eternity.

LICENSED CENTER:

Central Preschool is licensed by The North Carolina Department of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE) and undergoes regular inspections to maintain G.S. 110 compliance.

CURRICULUM:

All Central Preschool lesson plans are developed to meet the goals set within the North Carolina Foundations for Early Learning and Development. This Foundations document was developed by the North Carolina Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC), Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE) and the Department of Public Instruction. It provides one document for North Carolina that articulates our state's goals for children on a continuum that includes infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

CHRISTIAN PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

The Christian Philosophy of Education at Central Weekday Preschool is as follows: We believe “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” and that all knowledge has its foundation in the Word of God. We teach the Bible as God’s inspired Word and help the children to develop attitudes of love and respect toward it. We train the children to hope in the Lord, to love Him, and to keep His commandments. We encourage the children to know and obey the will of God as revealed in the Scriptures. We strive to stimulate and enlarge the children’s involvement in the church and its worldwide tasks of witnessing and evangelizing.

“Happy is the man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding” (Proverbs 3:13).

Our Story

We are so excited to begin the journey of kingdom education with your family.  More than 20 years ago our church responded to God’s call to provide Christian education to the residents of our community.  In 2010, we began implementing that vision with our weekday preschool.

In 2023, we launched our Lower Grade School with a Kindergarten class.  In 2024-25 we will expand to 3rd grade. We plan to add additional grade(s) each year.
